What to Expect
-
Pick Your Focus: You choose exactly what we work on. We can either focus on untangling old emotional knots (like healing old hurts, understanding what triggers you, or breaking bad habits) or focus on building a better future (like setting goals, improving focus, and building positive new mental habits).
Deep Relaxation & Safety: We will use a safe, structured relaxation technique to quiet your mind. Think of it like turning down the volume on your brain's alarm system. When your mind is this calm, you can safely look at old memories without feeling overwhelmed or panicked.
Breaking Old Mental Habits: We will work together to spot and get rid of negative self-talk and old, limiting beliefs. This is all about unlearning the rules society or tough times forced on you, so you can feel free to be yourself.
Body & Stress Release: Stress doesn’t just live in our thoughts—it gets physically trapped in our bodies. We will use simple, guided breathing and body awareness to switch your nervous system out of "fight-or-flight" mode, letting your muscles finally relax and let go of tension.
Take-Home Game Plan: After the session, you won’t just be left wondering what it all meant. You will get a clear summary of your breakthroughs, plus simple, real-world exercises to help you practice these new habits in your daily life.
You Are in Total Control: You are in the driver's seat the entire time. You won't be forced to do or say anything you don't want to. I am just here to guide the process, but you run the show.
Nature of My Work
As a certified hypnosis coach, my job is to help everyday people handle everyday life challenges. I teach you how to use deep focus and positive thinking to improve your life, and I show you how to use these relaxation techniques on your own. What you will learn are not fringe techniques, but backed by actual science.
I am not a doctor, psychologist, or licensed therapist, and I do not provide therapy or medical care. Think of me as a coach, teacher, and guide.
The Common-Sense Safety Rule
I follow a common-sense approach to your well-being. If at any point it seems like you might be dealing with a medical or mental health condition that requires a professional, I will ask you to see a doctor or a licensed therapist. I do not treat medical or mental illnesses.
The Words We Use (And What They Mean)
To make sure we are focused on self-improvement rather than medical treatment, we use everyday terms for our work:
-
Goals, Not Illnesses: We don’t focus on "disorders" or "diagnoses." We focus on your real-life challenges and the goals you want to reach.
-
Sessions, Not Treatment: I don’t "treat" or "cure" anyone. We have sessions where I help you enter a state of relaxed concentration—a completely natural mental state that anyone can reach.
-
Suggestions, Not Prescriptions: I don’t give medical orders. Instead, I offer ideas and suggestions while you are relaxed to help boost your excitement and motivation for making positive changes.
-
Self-Help Tools: These are simple thinking strategies to keep you on track. This can include looking back at past events, where I act as your guide to help you review those moments with a fresh perspective.
