Land Acknowledgment
My studio is in my home. The nature, land, and history of my home continues to remain a deep source of inspiration, both creatively and spiritually. I would like to personally pay my respect and gratitude by acknowledging the caretakers--past, present, and future--of the land that I have the privilege to call home. To the Gabrielino/Tongva peoples: the Honuukvetam (Ancestors), 'Ahiihirom (Elders), and our 'Eyoohiinken (Relatives), thank you. May my actions and deeds be a reflection of my love, appreciation, and gratitude to past, present, and future Gabrielino/Tongva peoples, and their land.
